Hookpit Farm Lane is located in Kings Worthy just north of Winchester. The development is formed of 27 houses and 8 apartments of discounted market sale and shared ownership tenure. It was completed in 2021 by the contractor Drew Smith for Winchester City Council.
PDP were appointed at RIBA Stage 4 by the contractor, to carry out the detailed design of the project for construction, and as part of our services we conducted a full review of the inherited planning drawings, redesigning the internal layouts to assist building control compliance and resolve the technical delivery on site.
To aid the delivery of this scheme we worked closely with the contractor to ensure timely discharge of planning conditions, provided lead designer services to ensure co-ordination of information between Project Team members, and collated Health & Safety information including Access Statements, Fire Strategy, and Cleaning & Maintenance schedules, in addition to our architectural services for the technical design of the development.
