A scheme of 6 no. one and two 2 bed affordable bungalows located on a former garage site and children’s play park. This site had several existing site constraints that pdp had to work around during the planning and construction stages, including an existing right of way, a very narrow access road into the site and site contamination. With the site being surrounded by two storey houses on all boundaries the design had to be sensitive to the existing enclosed context in terms of scale and massing. The carefully thought out design resulted in a pleasant new cul-de-sac development being achieved.
