pdp architecture llp achieved planning permission for 12no. two bed and three bed houses for affordable rent for Guildford Borough Council. The site is currently occupied by a single storey social club building currently used as a gym, set within predominantly hard landscaped grounds.

The houses are arranged in six pairs of semi-detached houses creating a new cul-de-sac addition to the Slyfield Green area. The front elevations of each house are predominantly white render with a mix of buff facing brick and grey cladding to the projected porches. With the side elevations being of a buff brick construction to act as bookends to each semi-detached dwelling. The main front elevations have been designed to reflect a contemporary style of architecture, utilising modern materials and arrangements to provide a stylish modern identity for the development. The houses have been designed to achieve Life Time Homes criteria and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.

This scheme is currently out to tender and is due to start on site in August 2015.
