PDP Architecture LLP: Summer News Update

In the past few months the Practice has received new instructions for a variety of projects including:

• A new 60 bed Nursing Home in the New Forest
• 25,000sqft Industrial Unit in Havant
• Various social housing schemes for Housing Associations and Local Authorities
• Major extension to an existing Nursing Home in Petersfield

Recently the Practice has been accepted onto the Wayfarer Framework, this following on from last years’ success in being included within the Sentinel Housing Association Framework.

Our scheme for Sunnybank Farm a 60 bed Nursing Home designed for Hartford Care at Fairoak near Winchester was a finalist for the 2015 Pinder Healthcare Design Awards.

The Practice had previously also been a finalist for a Pinder Healthcare Design Award in 2013 with the Parker Meadows 80 bed Nursing Home in Fareham.

As well as the above pdp architecture were also regional finalists for the LABC 2015 Best New Affordable Housing Awards with our scheme at Ockley Mead, Godstone, Surrey for Raven Housing Trust.

Stephanie Marshall and Charlotte Earnshaw, both Part I Architectural Assistants have now completed their 12 month’s work experience with the Practice and will be returning to University to complete the final two years of their course. We thank them both for their work and wish them every success in the future.

We are pleased to welcome three new members of staff who have joined the Practice in the past two months, Elliott Vialls who has recently completed a Part II Architecture course at the University of Portsmouth together with Ross Nunn and Stephen Harvey both Architectural Technologists who studied at Plymouth University.
