The existing Cricket Pavilion was constructed in the late 60's and had become dilapidated and provided limited facilities. The new Pavilion was constructed along side the existing pavilion which remained operational until the completion of the contract.

The new Pavilion provides modern changing facilities for cricketers in the summer and footballers in the winter. On the first floor there is a bar which has viewing balconies overlooking the grounds.

The building is designed to resist vandalism with banded brickwork walls and more interesting detailing at higher level. Windows and balconies have metal shutters to protect the building when not in use.
