This scheme is built on a brown field site, formerly a petrol station for Hermitage Housing Association.
The accommodation is arranged on 3 to 4 stories and provides 30 apartments for young couples (key workers) and older people whose children have left home and currently under occupy family homes.
The building which occupies a corner site and has two wings facing the street and living spaces with external balconies overlooking a landscaped courtyard. Between the two wings is the entrance and circulation core with perforated metal rain screen.
