Kingham House involved the redevelopment of a redundant social club and car park to provide both affordable and shared ownership properties for a local Housing Association. The main building has 24 dwelling arranged on five floors with 7 three bedroom houses together with parking all within the restricted site.
Working closely with local residents and the Planning Authority a design solution was formulated with regard to height and boundary treatment that was both acceptable and financially viable.
The elevations are a mixture of brick, cedar and render with corner aluminium windows and juliet balconies. Constructed on a Design & Build basis a Design Brief was used to ensure a high standard of detailing and material specification.
